Product Description Now you can stay focused on your game using the Fatal1ty Gaming Headset. This lightweight piece of gaming gear hugs your head and ears with plush velvet and fabric padding. That means you can battle for hours on end.Commands, explosions and sniper shots sound fantastic through the high-quality speakers. Issue orders using the noise-canceling microphone. It transmits your voice clearly, so your team can hear the difference between "get down" and "go around." Detach the mic for easy storage or to use the Fatal1ty Gaming Headset as regular headphones. In the heat of battle, this headset won't leave you stranded. That's why Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel uses it.

Very Nice! December 1, 2008 Sound quality of the speakers in this product are AWSOME! Very nice base and love the detachable mic. Only thing bad about this headset is it does not have the surround sound speakers. But trust me, the speakers it has make up for it. Also durable.
Best headphone!! November 29, 2008 I purchased this today at a store not on amazon just because I wanted to have it right then and there. I wanted this headset because my boyfriend has the same one. Which I have tried before and the sound is amazing. We both play games online and you can hear glass shattering and bullets firing, footsteps, etc. As for comfort it's great! It doesn't hurt my ears and I also wear glasses so it doesn't bother me at all. It cups the ears and is tight for better sound quality.I didn't get the one with the USB adapter though. I would rather have the regular plug on it.It comes with a detachable mic for when you just want to listen and not talk on the mic.The mic is also great and you can be heard loud and clear. Creative also made a sound card "Creative Fatality X-Fi" which I was thinking of buying with this headset. But JUST the headset alone IS GREAT!! If you want to get the sound card too it would be twice more instense. As I tried the headset with the sound card at the store you can hear the bullets flying by and bullet shells dropping etc. So I basically can hear eve-ry-thing. But like I said the headset alone is a GREAT BUY!!!!!. I would recommend it to other gamers or anyone that just wants a good headset for a great price.
Hot ears in a vice November 17, 2008 The ear pads are a cover your whole ear kind and my last pair sat on the ear. My ears get really really hot and I have never had trouble with a headset being to tight on my head. It has lots of adjustments tilt/swivel/elongate but they still feel like there to tight. I'm still trying to find a good headset with velvet earpads that fit on the ear till then I will try to use these for short periods of time.
Online Class November 11, 2008 This headset was purchased to support participation in an online language class by my daughter. The headset is comfortable to wear, appears to be well made and functions very well for this purpose. The only drawback is that our computer's audio jack is in the back of the computer and use of the headset requires unplugging the speakers. Because of our configuration it is cumbersome to change from the headset to the speakers. This is only a reflection on our setup and not on the headset. We have had the headset for a couple of weeks and so far they work well.
Decent product, but has issues. October 24, 2008 The microphone is fantastic, and the fact that you can plug/unplug it from the headset is great.
That said, the actual headphones don't sit well on my ears. They get really uncomfortable to wear after ten minutes or so. I got these with the sole intent of doing voice chat in online games, so an inability to wear them for extended periods of time really kills their usefulness to me.
