 Insultingly basic, no new information October 25, 2003
I read this book with high hopes of learning something about avoiding sexual harassment in the workplace I provide. I was shocked to learn this was written by a lawyer - it was badly organized and so basic as to be at best laughable, and at worse insulting! I can only guess that the glowing customer reviews must have been written by Ms. Lynch herself! I want my money back, please!!

I found "Draw the Line" to be an excellent reference for basic questions and concerns regarding sexual harassment avoidance in a small business. It helped me tremendously in defining rules and boundaries within my business. The book speaks clearly and definitively about potential problem situations. It approaches the topic of sexual harassment from a legal prevention standpoint. This book is not about what one does after a sexual harassment situation has occurred, but is rather about how to avoid ever getting into a legal bind over a thoughtless comment. It discusses in detail the differences between a harmless joke or comment, and a comment that might lead to legal action. This book is written for any average business owner, and does not get bogged down in difficult legal terms and concepts. It's easy and entertaining to read, and I would recommend it to anyone having questions about sexual harassment issues in their business.
