| Customer Reviews:
Favorite Childhood Book April 10, 2005 If this book hadn't been a hardcover edition, I probably would have worn it out before I was six. This book was just right for a beginning reader who loved dinosaurs. The book begins with the creation of the earth ("The Ball of Fire") and continues on from prehistoric sharks and other sea creatures, through dinosaurs, the first mammals, cavemen, and "The Last of the Giants" (blue whales). This is a very good book for any small child who loves dinosaurs and prehistoric times. I plan to purchase a copy for my little 3 year old cousin.
