Twilight Saga January 9, 2009 Excellent!!I would've never thought that I would read these books in my lifetime!!Stephanie Meyer is a fantastic author!
Awesome set! January 9, 2009 This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and she has not been able to put it down. She is almost done the last book. In her words-"I think their awesome!" It is also a very nice boxed-hard cover set-the price was a great savings! Now it's my turn to read them!
Still waiting..... January 8, 2009 Gave the item 1 star since I haven't yet seen it but couldn't comment without a star. I ordered this item on December 1st. It was listed as "In Stock" and sold by Amazon. It was to be a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I soon recieved an e-mail from the seller, not Amazon, to apologize since this was in fact back-ordered and the site had not been updated. OK I'm still waiting. The seller has replied to my e-mails but no ship date in sight. I am keeping the order in effect in the hopes that I will recieve it for my granddaughters birthday on January 28th. Not the sellers fault but annoying none the less.
Twilight Saga beautiful , especially Breaking Dawn etc. January 8, 2009 The negative responses I've seen are either very closed-minded or very.... egotistical.. or maybe very young. It seems to me that she wrote the novels first for herself and then later was viewed for the teenage audience. Twilight could easily fit in that category (especially teenage). However, she stated once that she wrote the Saga for herself-- not for teens, or for me (I'm 27) or you-it was for herself FIRST. I think you should remember that. Maybe Breaking Dawn wasn't catered to teens or to the weak-stomach....in any case, it followed exactly in the same principles that made the other books brilliant.. the passion and the brilliance of plot and the PERSONAL creativity from the author herself... you can almost feel intrusive.. as though you're reading from S. Meyer's secret diary. Instead of complaining against a novel you could never write like in comparison on your best days(sorry), you should appreciate her artistic brain and be thankful that you're actually able to partake in her creativity by reading something that she wrote that is very personal to her. You're going to have to face that she writes to cater to herself and not you, me, teens, or anyone else. Creativity shouldn't be bounded by the borders that certain groups want to create. Let her be and create and respect that eh? Not a whole lot to ask. I love ALL her books (especially Breaking Dawn) as well as The Host. She is a brilliant writer that ensnares readers of all ages and reminds us of a TRUE LOVE that we all wanted or have at one point in our lives had... or can still have. Oooohh yeahhh. Be realistic please. yep.
better then the movies January 8, 2009 all are hard cover and you really enjoy it on your time great collection with out chase the other books and that fact that there all held together even looks great
