Product Description Beginning drawing and writing lessons for children ages five to ten. The Boxed Set includes Books 1 through 8 of the Draw Write Now series. The books are simple enough for a young child to do independently, but a teacher or parent may present the lessons. Each drawing lesson includes a colorful picture and step-by-step instructions, while the writing lesson includes four simple handwritten sentences. The teacher or parent may introduce letter formation, have the children copy the sentences for handwriting practice, or use the lessons as a springboard for creative writing or report writing. Developed by an elementary school teacher and co-authored by her daughter.

We love these! They teach about different topics & how to draw the cute corresponding picture. Definitely recommend for fun or study.
Excellent book for my grandchildren September 6, 2008 I believe this will not only entertain my grandchildren but help them in with their learning skills.
Great for classroom use July 26, 2008 At the beginning of the year, my second graders draw the pictures and copy the information provided about each animal we study. As the year progresses, they are expected to provide other information they learn about a particular animal. This is perfect to use during our study of habitats!
