Product Description
Basketball Statistics tracks all the standard offensive and defensive basketball statistics for up to 40 players in up to 80 games per season. The number of season files is virtually unlimited. Statistical categories include (1) 3-pt field goals made and attempted; (2) 2-pt field goals made and attempted; (3) Overall field goals made and attempted (calculated automatically); (4) Free throws made and attempted; points scored; (5) Offensive and defensive rebounds; (6) Steals; (7) Turnovers; (8) Assists; (9) Fouls; and (10) playing time. Two user-programmable categories are also included for stats like blocked shots and charges taken, you name these two categories. All per-game and per-season averages and all shooting percentages are included and calculated automatically. Team statistics are also included and are calculated automatically from the data of the individual players where possible. Printouts include any single game, season-to-date totals for any group of games (you pick 'em), one players game-by-game stats, and the game scores. HTML capability is included so the stats can be emailed to the media or posted directly to a web site. Statistics may be entered into this program in either of two ways; (1) after the game from video tape or stats sheets or (2) imported from the Park Enterprises program "Courtside Stats for Basketball" which actually records a game's statistics in real time during the game.

My husband recently recieved this stat software and was not happy with the limited capabilities of this program offers. This program has the very basic stats. We have been looking around and have found programs that cost less with more stat capabilites. This does not alllow you to do shot charts or graphs and only allows for two extra stat categoies. If you just wan the basic stats this program is not bad. If you are a coach who like to do a little more with stats and charts, this is not the program for you.

I have used this Basketball Statistics program with my boys basketball team for many years and it makes keeping up with individual and team stats as easy as 1-2-3. It has been a lifesaver for me. I would recommend it without any reservations to anyone.

My husband is a girls' basketball coach, and I compile and update stats on each of his players. When he bought the Park Enterprises Basketball Statistics (BKSTATS) program three years ago, my knowledge of computers was very limited. However, the instructions were so clear and easy to follow, that I was able to begin using the program immediately. It has made keeping up with individual and team stats a breeze. I highly recommend this program!
Very good software for the price May 12, 2004
I have found that this product is an excellent value.
It is easy to use and has all the standard basketball
statistics. I would recommend it without hesitation.
