Great Game! November 19, 2008
The more I play Diablo, the more I love it! You can't say the same for many other games. This is a great game and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Plus, Blizzard has a great free online gaming service!
 Diablo Keeps On Entertaining February 14, 2008
The game Diable is several years old now (since Blizzard has put their time and efforts into the World of Warcraft), but it still is fun and entertaining to play. The graphics are still fairly good and the the randomness of the items and quests keep it fresh to a degree. A good RPG if you don't necessarily want to play online.

Diablo 2 has taken many, many hours away from my life...but it was too addicting, I couldn't help it! For anyone who likes 2-D style dungeon-crawls (Bulder's Gate, Champions of Norrath, Diablo 1, etc) this is THE game for you! The replayability of this game is phenomenal. There are so many items (various types of weapons, armor, charms, amulets, rings, etc.) and monsters that every single time you play, the experience will be different! You play underground, in deserts, ice caves, forests, jungles, castles, so many places. It can take hours to beat each act (5 in all) and there are three difficulty levels to play (15 Acts total if you play all the way through). Hell is the hardest difficulty setting and VERY challenging. There are many sidequests to play, though your main goal is to kill Mephisto, Baal, and Diablo.
The characters are more fun than any dungeon crawl type came I have ever played because each class has its own sepcific skills, spells, and auras (30 for each of the 7 classes) that it can learn. Because of that, even one class can have several different styles of character by the end of the game.
Many people still play this game online, though I have only ever played it offline, single player. I have talked with peopl who play it online, and if you have a fast connection (I only have dial-up) they say it is a lot of fun.
So if you want to go back to the classic days before everything was in 3-D, and on massive online servers, Diablo 2 with or with out the expansion (which adds the fifth act to each level of the game), is a fun and challenging way to whittle away hours of your life on the computer!

Though I am reviewing games that were made over 7 years ago, they are still amazing. I am actually reviewing 3 games total, which are Diablo, Diablo 2, and Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction. When the first Diablo was released everyone was so happy many copies of the game were sold and it was a hallmark in gaming because it has brought so many ideas, though this game is a hallmark its "magic touch" has went away and it kind if rapidly gets boring, the thing that is best about it is the story and the characters you can interact with there are plenty of them, but my favorite part of the game is definetly the the many different types of monsters, for when it was made the monsters were amazing. Now the Diablo 2 review. When Diablo 2 was created in 1999 it was amazing and I am glad to say that it still has its "magic touch." It has an amazing selection of monsters to choose from. It has a good warriors to choose from. In the first Diablo when you got something like a magic weapon when you wear it wouldn't show anything except a normal weapon, but now in Diablo 2 you can see difference like the color or even the look. The graphics are even better then Diablo and amazing for its time. It is much more longer than Diablo, and has a great story behind. Somehow it kind of is violent, for example dead bodies of mutilated people and people exploding. This game has is amazing and will remain amazing. Now Diablo 2 LOD (Lord Of Destrucion.) This game isn't much different from Diablo 2, except for that you have 2 more character classes, a new part in the story, and a little more armor and stuff. WARNING: If you have beat Diablo 2 and you are thinking that you can use your file from Diablo 2 On LOD then you cannot do this. It is recommended that you just play LOD instead of normal Diablo 2, because of the extra content. I forgot to mention probably the best part of the game, Battle Net it works on all 3 games and it makes these game even more fun, it lets you play online sort of like a MMO like game and lets you play with friends and beat the game with them. These hallmarks in gaming are great and shouldn't be missed, if you don't have these games now, it is highly recommended that you buy the games.
