Nikon EN-EL-3e Battery January 7, 2009 I purchased an extra EN-EL-3e battery for my Nikon 300D and am now using them both, one in the camera's body and the other in the MB-D10 multi power battery back. Both batteries are working fine, hold a charge extremely well and recharge very quickly in the Nikon charger. I am considering the higher capacity battery, but will hold off as I don't feel like spending another $250 at this point for the additional battery capacity. I love this camera....the absolutely best one I have ever owned. Nikon makes great stuff!
Great Battery, Great Price, Great Service January 6, 2009 Battery works like a charm on my Nikon D80. You can never underestimate how handy it is to have a couple of backup batteries in your bag. Whether you're on a week long trip, or just driving home from work and happen upon a spectacular sunset, the last thing you want to see is a blinking battery symbol in your viewfinder. Do yourself a favor and pick up one (or two) if you don't have a backup already.
Great Additional Battery December 30, 2008 I am a wedding photographer by trade, and the D200 sucks the life out of batteries no matter what. I bought 5 of these to have on hand, fully charged at a normal 10 hour wedding. I have found recently, that I only need to use 2 batteries for a 10 hour wedding at constant shooting. It is a must have backup/additional battery. Highly recommended for anyone to buy.
Works like a charm in a battery grip December 22, 2008 What's bad to say about a Nikon battery (or almost any product Nikon makes, for that matter)? With two batteries in my battery grip on my D90, I forget I ever have to charge them! I've taken over 5k pictures on just a couple charges and several of those included using the built-in flash as a CLS trigger. You owe it to yourself to spend the bucks and grab a spare, especially if you get a battery grip.
Go for the real thing December 14, 2008 I went back to the Nikon battery after getting a third party one through a reputable seller for $16. It just did not hold the charge. I shoot enough and the difference was so significant that I did not think it was worth it. When in comes to rechargeable batteries for cameras my experience is that the original is much better. I am sure great third party stuff are available, but I have not found them.
