| Customer Reviews:
Malicious Garbage January 3, 2009 Update from initial review, below: I just spent an hour uninstalling SytemSuite 9. The first sign of trouble was that, after loading the software, Photoshop would not open. I decided to uninstall SS9. OOPS! The Win XP uninstaller froze and would not open. I went to Safe mode but the uninstaller would not work in Safe. I therefore tediously deleted each file in the program folder, many of which were dll files and would not delete. They are still there, like litter from a party gone terribly wrong. After manually deleting what I could, I rolled back Win to the day before. Now everything is working again but what a waste of time and money. Now I get to test their 90-day money back guarantee. Original review: My brand new CD of SytemSuite 9 Professional would not load from the program's splash screen, nor would the CD manuals open. This is a poor start for a program that is supposed to clear up operating problems. Instead, the install button opened a simple scanner program I had never seen. To research the problem I tried to open the CD manual. Nothing. I loaded the supplied copy of Adobe Reader. Nothing. I turned off all other software. Nothing. I finally went into the disk and found, three layers down, the install icon. It began loading and then gave me two error screens: Error 1335, and Internal Error 2350. Research on the Web suggested this was due to Win XP being unable to keep up with the unpacking of compressed CD files, or perhaps dirt on the CD. I switched the CD to a faster drive with more buffer, and it loaded. My suggestion: Look for another program from a company that proofs its own CD before shipping.
