Product Description
Oh, the Prince has a boo-boo: he bumped his head and needs a band-aid. Who will get it? The nanny starts the cry, and soon the cook, the King, the Queen, the general all swing into action. An entertaining cumulative story with rhythmic word repetition that enhances the reading experience and fun pictures by noted illustrator R.W. Alley.

5 out of 5 stars Classic   December 18, 2006
As odd as this seems, this is the book that I learned to read when I was little...and I'm 20 years old now! It wasn't this exact printed copy, but the book hasn't really changed much since then; there were word cards at the back of the original copy, but now it seems that they've taken that idea and made a word bank. It's a great way to spend time with your child/children; I highly recommend this book to parents who want to encourage and help their children learn how to read.

5 out of 5 stars A Great Book For children of any age!   December 16, 2001

"The Prince has a Boo-boo" has personally been my favorite book evey since I was 3. It's a great book for children because its about this little prince who bumps his head and everyone in the castle wants to get him a band-aid. In the end he just wanted a kiss to make it all better. In the back of this book there is a set of learning cards that you can cut out and help your child learn how to read essential words for life like: Kiss, Boo-boo, and Castle. I really recommend you buy this book for your little reader today, they'll love it forever!!

5 out of 5 stars a nice story with nice pictures   April 10, 2000

How can this book be out of print? It's so much fun! The drawings are engaging, with warm and bright color. The words are simple and in big type for early readers or pre-readers. And the story's cute, with a nice little message at the end. It's very short, will take you one minute to read, unless you stretch it by acting out the parts or discussing the drawings on every page (if you do that it could last you five whole minutes!)).
